Ok, so this shit is funny in that I am disturbed and yet laughing anyways kind of way.  It is so melancholy in a very ‘Artsy French Cinema’ fashion.  Just so you guys know, the humor of this may not appeal to everyone and it is probably NSFW.  But don’t worry about Jean-Claude, he recovers well enough to get with 22 year olds when he is a whopping 48!  Well… he recovers well enough to give it a valiant effort anyways.  Wellllll…actually his effort is mostly cringe inducing.

Anywho — Here is the video!

walmart-virus

Oh good god this is pretty disturbing.  Click here to watch how Walmart expanded since its creation/spawning.  It starts off slow, but when it gets going prepare to be unsettled.  Well, unsettled if you have a soul.  Even the Walmart Douche is shivering right now, and douches aren’t scared of anything…except feminism.

The man on the right (and playing the piano here), Stanley Ralph Underwood, passed today at 2am from complications of cancer. He was a dedicated husband, father and grandfather as well as a Veteran of the US Navy. He cracked jokes until the end.
He will be missed very much.

Ok, I know this is shallow or whatever, but I really don’t care.  I dislike Rachel Ray…a lot.  I find her annoying and disingenuous.  I hate all her little “Yum-o’s” and whatnots that are supposed to make her so charming and easy to relate to. Now I have an even better reason to dislike her.

National Enquirer (January 5, 2008) Reports:

To promote her Nutrish line of dog food, the super chef recently published a recipe that’s intended for human consumption in a popular dog lover’s magazine. The recipe, “Isaboo’s Butternut Squash Mac and Cheddar” was inspired by her pit bull Isaboo’s love of squash. But readers were confused and believed the dish, that included an ingredient that could kill dogs, was mean for their dogs.

Nowhere in the dog magazine did it state that the recipe was intended for humans, not dogs. And the text accompanying the recipe contained a disclaimer warning owners to check with their dogs’ veterinarians, again leading many to believe the recipe was for dogs…

Dr. Dana Harman, D.V.M., of Boca Raton, Fla, explains that onions can cause “potentially fatal hemolytic anemia” in dogs.

Modern Dog has since added a mild disclaimer to their website telling people that the recipe is intended for people, though the people at Rachel Ray’s website have left the recipe unchanged.  Even listing it under a Pet Friendly header and it starts with a picture of Rachel and her dog Boo eating a very similar looking meal (see above).

I hope that Rachel Ray hasn’t used her completely evil and annoying powers to kill your (or your friends) dogs.

You know that video where everyone is at the summit hosted by Bush and nobody is shaking his hand?  How he looked so sad and everyone considered it a snub to the most unpopular kid on the block?  Well that shit is false…as is proved here.

Barack Obama’s grandmother Madelyn Dunham died today in Hawaii after a battle with cancer. Obama’s family issued this statement:

She was the cornerstone of our family, and a woman of extraordinary accomplishment, strength, and humility. She was the person who encouraged and allowed us to take chances. She was proud of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and left this world with the knowledge that her impact on all of us was meaningful and enduring. Our debt to her is beyond measure.

Wow, that really sucks.  I was crossing my fingers that she would make it until he won.  Really sad.  That said, if you haven’t already, get your asses out there and vote!  It is obvious who I have voted for, but the most important thing is that you get out there and do it either way. My thoughts are with the Obama family.

David Tennant, the 10th Doctor on the UK’s prolific Sci-Fi series Doctor Who was named the 16th Most Sexy Man by Cosmopolitan Magazine.  He is definitely on my short list of potential husbands, so I was very pleased that he ranked that high in an American magazine.  The top 5 mostly consisted of the tried and true favorites, Brad Pitt, Jake Gyllenhaal, George Clooney, and of course Johnny Depp was number one… shocker.

What actually WAS a shocker is that Tennant after 3 seasons and a few specials in the works is leaving Doctor Who.  That sad fact made me a little teary eyed.  I understand his reasoning though, leave while you will still be missed.  I pray that they can come up with somebody as easy to relate to and charismatic to take over the mantle of the much beloved television icon.

After the cut watch a video of David talking about his departure.

Ok, I know this is kind of sad…but I feel a little like crying right now.

Gale Harold is my favorite dream boat heart throb.  He was one of the stars of Queer as Folk and is currently one of the stars on the new season of Desperate Housewives.

Tragedy struck when he got in a serious motorcycle accident yesterday.  He’s currently being treated in the ICU department of USC. This is pretty much the worst news ever!  I don’t even know what else to say other than he better not effin die.  So I am going to be will powering him not to by watching old re-runs of Queer as Folk and wishing that he would get back together with Justin instead of being with that stick bug Terri Hatcher.  I will update as soon as I know more.

Update: The actor’s rep says, “We can confirm that Gale Harold was in a motorcycle accident yesterday, Oct 14. He has fractured his shoulder and is under observation to assess any possible further injuries. Everyone is hopeful for a full recovery. No one else was injured in the accident.”

Oh thank god!!

Another Update: Apparently he doesn’t just have a fractured shoulder, he also has swelling in his brain.  Marc Cherry expects him to make a full recover.  Too bad Marc isn’t a doctor.

I am going to keep up my Queer as Folk vigil until I hear for sure.

Another Another Update: Officials at a Los Angeles hospital say Gale’s condition is improving, and they will be moving him to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center soon.  Yay!
