Some Happier Political News – Obama Wins WoW

Comedian Rich Kuras goes inside the World of Warcraft poll players on the 2008 Presidential Election.  It is really interesting that with 11 million members, WoW would actually be the 8th largest state.  I was actually not too surprised with the results, but the video entertains none the less.  With only one day left until we find out who will be the next leader of the free world, I thought it would be interesting to see where the video game fan’s loyalties are.

Barack Obama’s Grandmother Dies with just Days until the Election. Wicked Sad.

Barack Obama’s grandmother Madelyn Dunham died today in Hawaii after a battle with cancer. Obama’s family issued this statement:

She was the cornerstone of our family, and a woman of extraordinary accomplishment, strength, and humility. She was the person who encouraged and allowed us to take chances. She was proud of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and left this world with the knowledge that her impact on all of us was meaningful and enduring. Our debt to her is beyond measure.

Wow, that really sucks.  I was crossing my fingers that she would make it until he won.  Really sad.  That said, if you haven’t already, get your asses out there and vote!  It is obvious who I have voted for, but the most important thing is that you get out there and do it either way. My thoughts are with the Obama family.
